Q: How do I order?

A: Currently to order you can email or call Julie. We hope to soon be adding a shopping cart to the site. Please sign up for our mailing list to be notified when.

Q: How long does it take to have something custom made?

A: Typically for ballroom dresses allow 6-8 weeks before the event and for all other garments allow 3-4 weeks. Some Contributing factors include the time it takes to confirm the design, complexity of the design, availability of materials, and scheduling.

Q: How many fittings are needed?

A: Again the design dictates the number of fittings as well as the body type of the person. Usually, the first fitting is to get the shape and proportion of the garment to match the individual. The next is to confirm the fit and decide on the embellishments as well as the hem. For most dresses/garments the next fitting is the final fitting and pickup. The total number of fittings required will depend on the type of garment being made and the complexity of the design.

A: Yes, please see our products page.

Q: How do you come up with the designs?

A: Julie works with every client on an individual basis. Whether the client knows exactly what they want, has an idea but needs it pulled together, or needs a design from scratch. At the initial design meeting Julie discusses the design and all the requirements with the client. Music is played, colors are selected, style is agreed upon, and any other concerns of the client are discussed.

Q: What stones do you use?

A: We only use CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements on our garments. Swarovski creates the best crystals on the market. They have the brightest shine and the clearest crystal. While they are made overseas and have to be imported to the US, we believe that the additional shine and sparkle out on the floor make the additional cost worthwhile.
