Julie has been designing for over 30 years. She started designing leotards at a young age when she competed in rhythmic gymnastics. She earned a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering in her 20’s and eventually used her creative and technical skills to design and make ballroom dresses. In 2003 she decided to start her own business, making and designing performance costumes. Julie creates costumes for large production classical dance numbers, Irish dance school teams and unique one-of-a-kind-creations for all types of dance or performances.
“I love creating outfits/costumes for clients. There is always a new opportunity to learn something or incorporate a new idea into a design to make the overall performance standout. Seeing the smiles on my clients’ faces when they see the finished garment is the highlight of my work.” -Julie
